Welcome to the Trimpe Middle School Cross Country information page! I have created this page to house the documents, forms, and links that parents and athletes will need to get the season started and keep it rolling. I have also started the Trimpe Middle School Facebook Page. I wanted to keep the electronic documents in one spot so it would be a one stop shop for parents. If you have not joined the Remind Group please click the button on the forms and links page for how to join. I will use this throughout the season for cancellations, information, and you are able to text me (Coach Walters) through it. Let me start by saying that cross country is a running sport where middle school students race on grass course 2 miles in length. I don't expect everyone to be able to do this on day one! It is a sport where everyone can start at their current fitness level and get better. Running is fun when done with positive attitudes, teammates, and eventually competition.
Our first practice will be on JULY 30 at 9 a.m. We will meet at the Civic Memorial High School Track.
All athletes must have a CURRENT PHYSICAL & INSURANCE WAIVER to practice. These documents can be found under the forms and links tab above. Athletes will also need to review and sign the athletic handbook information and will need to pay the athletic fee (this can be done after practice has started). I know filling out the paperwork and fees can be quite a task, but I want to thank you in advance! The season will run from July 30 (first practice) till October 9 (last meet other than IESA State Meet). If we have qualifiers, the IESA State Meet would be Sat. Oct. 13.
We will practice at the following times and locations.
August 13 & 14 3:15 p.m - 4:30 Meet at Civic Memorial Track
August 15 and after 3:00 p.m - 4:30 Meet at Trimpe Middle School
